Veolia’s 2023 Sustainability Fund Opens

Calling High Wycombe’s not-for profit & community groups….

Veolia, the UK’s leading resource management company, has launched this year’s Sustainability Fund, in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council, to help support people across South Buckinghamshire to transform their local environments and communities.

The Sustainability Fund provides cash sponsorship, in-kind resources or staff volunteers to support not-for-profit organisations and community groups to transform their local community or environment. A successful project will provide evidence of one or more of the following:

  • Enhancing biodiversity
  • Promoting sustainable waste behaviours (reduce, reuse and/or recycle
  • Protecting or preserving resources and the environment
  • Its use of recycled, reused or reclaimed materials

2022 was an incredibly successful year for The Sustainability Fund in South Buckinghamshire, supporting 9 grassroots projects with nearly £14,000 in funding. They are looking to back projects that make a positive, sustainable difference to the local area and to deliver long-term social and environmental benefits.

With funding as well as in-kind resources and volunteers available, Veolia aims to empower people to take positive action in their local area and deliver ecological transformation.
