Bus services
High Wycombe’s bus and coach station is located on Bridge Street in the town centre. Arriva and Carousel are the main bus operators in the High Wycombe area.
National Express operates coaches to London and other destinations.
High Wycombe’s park and ride service also offers a convenient route to High Wycombe town centre from junction 4 of the M40 at Cressex Island.
Public transport in High Wycombe just got a lot more convenient with the launch of Carousel Buses NEW on-demand minibus service, PickMeUp, covering High Wycombe town, and extending as far as Wycombe Air Park, Downley Common, Wooburn Green and Pedestal Roundabout on the West Wycombe Road.
The PickMeUp service, which launched in September 2022, is an on-demand ride-sharing minibus, enabling riders to pre-book a journey. It’s like a carpool, only bigger, and its great value too, only costing between £2 and £3.50, depending on the distance you’re travelling. The service operates Monday to Friday from 6am to 7pm (except public holidays).
If you don’t have a smartphone, that’s ok too – PickMeUp runs a local booking line, on 01494 296021 where a friendly PickMeUp assistant will be able to book the journey on a rider’s behalf.
