High Wycombe town centre will host the first ever FrogFest LITE event later this month as the popular family musical festival is set to return to the High Street.

This year’s event, which will take place across the May bank holiday weekend (Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st ), will feature a variety of live musical performances, street entertainment and family fun – but with a more relaxed vibe to enable social distancing and reflect the current restrictions. Craft markets and food stalls will also be playing their part throughout the three-day event.

Lucky festival goers will be treated to over 5 hours of acoustic tunes daily from some of the very best local artists. In a deviation from previous FrogFest events, this year musical performances will take place across the entire town centre, including a main stage in the High Street, Wycombe Arts Centre in Desborough Road and a host of other local venues. Music will also be available from 5pm each day in Pauls Row, allowing residents and visitors to take advantage of the recent road closure and enjoy a variety of alfresco dining options.

In another change from previous years, FrogFest 2021 will also include a giant LED Screen in Frogmoor. The Frogmoor cinema will be screening some of the very best family-friendly musical movies – including Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia and The Greatest Showman, as well as pre-recorded LIVE concerts. Spaces for the cinema will be limited, so booking early is essential. Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.

FrogFest is part of calendar of events run by High Wycombe BID company (HWBIDCo), an organisation working on behalf of local businesses to celebrate the town. Since its inception in 2013, the popular festival has gone from strength-to-strength and continues to draw people from across Buckinghamshire into High Wycombe town centre.
