‘Frogfest’ Returns This May Bank Holiday For Its 10th Anniversary
‘Frogfest’ will be celebrating its 10th anniversary of music & entertainment on Sunday 28th May, bringing family-fun to High Wycombe for a bumper Bank Holiday Weekend.
High Wycombe town centre will be alive with music this May bank holiday weekend, as the annual ‘Frogfest’ returns for its massive 10th year on Sunday 28th May – with TWO stages, TWENTY bands and FOOD TRUCKS galore, taking place throughout the High Street, Church Street & Frogmoor ALL DAY, from 11am – 9pm. Plus, there’ll be Free Parking in the council car parks all day – including Dovecot, Easton Street & The Swan.
Designed as the ultimate family-friendly festival, ‘Frogfest 2023’ will be bursting with fun, with FREE street entertainment, circus workshops, and even a giant roaming T-Rex as well as children’s rides, a bouncy castle, craft workshops and face painting – plus the FREE Land Train will be making a return trip to transport visitors around the town.
Foodies will be in their element with 15+ Food Trucks spread throughout the event, offering gourmet treats and cuisine of every nationality, including Thai, Greek, Lebanese, Jamaican, Indian and Italian, plus freshly made waffles, froyo, ice cream and even giant slurpee & pick & mix trailers. Mad Squirrel will also be bringing along their Craft Beer Truck, plus there’ll be artisan Grover’s cider, and cocktails pop-ups too.
Boutique craft & gifts stalls will also be on-hand for some bank holiday shopping, plus Wycombe Food Hub, Shopmobility, Wycombe MIND & Wycombe Youth Action will each be hosting stalls, games & entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
BUT the music is the real MAIN EVENT… with over TWENTY local acts on our Frogmoor Stage and High Street Stage, boasting an eclectic family-friendly line-up of every musical genre, from Indie, Jazz, Pop and Folk to Bhangra and Rock – there’ll be something for EVERYONE!
Wycombe music fans will recognise some of the biggest local names, including headliners ‘These Certain People’, the popular ‘Maz Manzini’, as well as Penn Fest regulars ‘Bollo Bollo’, and the Bhangra drumming sensations ‘Dhol Collective’.
