The FREE popular Carnival event, a celebration of music & culture, represents the very best of local performers, musicians, artists, with a busy line-up of creative classes, live shows & more!

Hosted in conjunction with Wycombe Arts Centre, the entertainment will take place throughout the day, from 11am – 4pm, and with Desborough Road closed to traffic, especially for the occasion, there’ll be activities to enjoy along the whole street!

Wycombe Arts Centre will be at the heart of the celebration, hosting the Main Stage – including performances from Chiltern Groove, DJ Raga, MLN, The Rock Project and DJ Paul Unomundo – plus there’ll be Carnival congas throughout the day, and flamboyant Mask-making workshops, led by our very own troop of Samba dancers.

Chief Executive of HWBIDCo, Melanie Williams, is getting in the Carnival mood. “Desborough Carnival has always been one of our favourite town centre events, and we’re so pleased to be able to bring it back again this year. It really is a celebration of High Wycombe’s amazingly talented community of artists, musicians and entertainers, and we love having the opportunity to join forces with local organisations such as Wycombe Arts Centre. The weather is looking perfect this Sunday, and we can’t wait to showcase Desborough Road at its finest – we hope there’ll be lots of people joining us for another FREE family event in High Wycombe.”
