Bear on Chairs is coming to town this summer
Get ready for a bear hunt with a local twist!
From 6th to 26th August, twelve teddy bears will be taking pride of place in shop windows across the town centre as part of a brand new Bears on Chairs Trail.
It’s completely free to take part, perfect for the summer holidays, and a brilliant excuse to explore the town centre and discover some fantastic local businesses.
The challenge? Find all 12 bears!
Each one is sitting on its own little chair and has a name inspired by High Wycombe’s furniture making history. As you spot them, write their names on your trail sheet. Some celebrate the people who made our town famous, others are inspired by the tools, timber and traditions that helped shape High Wycombe’s furniture-making industry.
Once you’ve found all 12 bears, hand your completed trail sheet in at High Wycombe Library, 5 Eden Place, HP11 2DH, before Saturday 22nd August, and you’ll receive your very own teddy bear to take home.
The Bears on Chairs Trail will invite visitors to explore the town centre, discover local businesses and celebrate High Wycombe’s rich furniture making heritage.
