We know that visitors to High Wycombe need might need access to information to ensure their stay is memorable for all the right reasons – especially if they have specific needs due to disabilities or medical conditions. Check below for the latest information and support for those with additional physical access needs.


Eden Shopping Centre and High Wycombe Shopmobility are good places to start. Open from 9.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 3.45pm on Sundays, Shopmobility is a registered charity offering the free daily loan of electric scooters as well as manual and powered wheelchairs.

Disabled toilets

Disabled toilets are located in Eden Shopping Centre in the Welcome Hall adjacent to the Customer Services desk and also in the bus station. There are four in total in Welcome Hall and two at the bus station. High Wycombe Shopmobility also provides disabled toilet keys for sale for £3.50 at the office. These keys will open any locked public wheelchair accessible toilet.

Adult changing facilities  

Adult changing facilities are also located in Eden Shopping Centre. These changing rooms are specifically designed for disabled adults who require care. The room includes a bed and hoist, the key can be obtained from the Eden customer service desk which is located just outside the toilets on the ground floor.

Baby Changing Facilities 

There are three baby changing rooms located in the customer toilets in Eden Shopping Centre adjacent to the Customer Services desk. Two of these rooms include a toilet along with a brand new comfortable baby feeding facility. The third room includes facilities for baby changing and feeding but doesn’t include a toilet.

Disabled Parking

There are a variety of parking spaces across the town centre reserved especially for disabled visitors. Details about the number and location of these spaces can be found on our transport and parking page.
