Take a trip to the Wycombe Swan this Easter holidays – there’s loads coming up this March & April. From Fireman Sam to Pink Floyd and Comedy, there is something for everyone. We have selected some of our favourite upcoming events you and the family can enjoy.

 

The Olivier Award-nominated show for anyone ages 3 and up ‘Room on the Broom’ at The Wycombe Swan on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of April, with multiple shows throughout the day with tickets at £15 upwards.

 

 

The Easter Holidays Workshop, where kids can go and create a famous scene from top West End musicals! Wednesday the 12th – Friday the 14th of April, kids will spend 3 days singing, dancing, and acting with friendly theatre experts and the project will end with a showcase on the Old Town Hall stage for friends and family at the end of Day 3 for £80.

 

Ministry of Science Live At the Wycombe Swan on Thursday the 6th of April. This year saw Science lead the way in getting our lives back to normal and the UK’s favourite science team is back and more explosive than ever! Prices start from £19…

Wycombe Museum

 

The Wycombe Museum invites you to their Easter Egg Hunt from the 2nd April to 16th April, 10 am – 4 pm, please check their website at https://wycombemuseum.org.uk/events/easter-egg-hunt-2 to check their standard opening hours and days.

No need to book – just drop by to take part. Recommended ages 4 – 11, but smaller ones are very welcome just may need a hand from a grown-up.

 

 

 High Wycombe Escape Rooms

 

High Wycombe Escape Rooms is Wycombe’s Number 1 Live Game Experience! They are immersive action-packed fun, you can be in teams of 2 – 10 people where you try and escape rooms in 60 minutes. It sounds scary, but it’s not, a little common sense and logical thinking will get you a long way. Work together this Easter to escape the game.

 

We recommend our personal favourite ‘The Crazy Cat Lady’ where you have promised The Crazy Cat Lady you’ll look after her cats while she is away. In one hour, she’ll be home and all six cats have been mischievous and are missing. You have one hour to find the cats and leave her house before she returns, recommended for ages 6+.

Wycombe Arts Centre

 

The Wycombe Arts Centre on Desborough Road hosts a huge range of events across the creative and performing arts, from Art club and open mic nights to touring theatre shows, world-beating live dance and their popular music in the garden series in summer. This half term they have a few events up their sleeve.

 

The Rock Project is the UK’s premier school for children’s contemporary music tuition. They offer group lessons in electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocals as well as the opportunity for young people aged 7-18 to put their musical skills into practice by performing regularly as a band.

 

Juniors (ages 7-11) 5 pm – 6.30 pm

The Eden Centre has got some great things for families, and this half term why not ‘strike out’ and take the family bowling?
